LA Spay/Neuter Festival Coming to Baldwin Park
Pet owners can enjoy the LA Spay/Neuter Festival at Morgan Park in Baldwin Park on Saturday between 7am and 4pm. The event, coordinated by the Carrie Ann Inaba Animal Project in partnership with Annie Hart of the Bill Foundation, will be held on January 18, 2014 at 4100 Baldwin Park Boulevard.
The LA Spay/Neuter Festival will host an array of vendors offering animal care information, basic training tips and other family-friendly activities. All available appointments for spay/neuter, vaccination, and microchip services have already been filled, but the County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control will be present to provide animal licensing services to attendees with proof of rabies vaccination, alteration, and microchip.
“We are proud to bring the first LA Spay/Neuter Festival to Baldwin Park,” says Carrie Ann Inaba, founder of The Carrie Ann Inaba Animal Project, “to help promote the importance of responsible pet ownership and the availability of many free and low-cost spay/neuter services throughout LA County. We are grateful for the extraordinary support of Annie Hart of the Bill Foundation, Hope for Paws, Lucy Pet Foundation, Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control and the many volunteers who have made this event possible," she says.
